Ignis Asset Management upgrades Investment Reporting with Factbook Solution.

London – 18 July 2012

Factbook, a specialist provider of fund reporting, marketing and data management solutions to the investment community, today announces a major asset management firm has embarked on a further extension of their deployment of Factbook Investment Reporting™ Solution.

Ignis’ Investment Reports are distributed to clients of varied profiles as well as investment teams. By deploying Factbook’s hosted Investment Reporting solution, Ignis now ensures that this essential element of its client communications is delivered on time, every time and thus remains current, informative and accurate. Factbook Investment Reporting™ is delivered using Factbook’s advanced Studio 10™ technology platform.

“We chose Factbook to help standardise our Investment Reporting Suite, creating a brand new set of comprehensive reports for the vast majority of our fund range across multiple asset classes, and to reduce production time and effort using their Studio 10™ platform. I am pleased to report that they have delivered on all counts and we look forward to our continued working relationship with Factbook” said Eddie Middleton, Investment Director at Ignis Asset Management.

Factbook was set a challenge and was able to meet it by leveraging its deep industry experience and superior technology. By deploying its Studio 10™ platform in a hosted environment, Factbook was able to deliver ready-to-run productions enabling Ignis to remain in full control.

“The implementation timescale of just less than eight weeks is a testament to Factbook’s proven ability to deliver industry leading solutions to meet our clients’ tactical needs. The Factbook Investment Reporting™ solution is available immediately, and can be deployed on an enterprise, hosted, or fully managed (outsourced) basis giving maximum flexibility to match client requirements.” said Factbook CEO Abbey Shasore.

Marc Dukes, Factbook’s Client Services Director, added, “The client has opted for our hosted deployment route; meaning that whilst they benefit directly from having the front-end user interface at their fingertips, the server side technology is hosted offsite in a state-of-the-art, enterprise-class, hosting facility. This deployment option ensures both minimal impact on the client’s IT infrastructure and a significantly reduced timeline to implement the solution.”

“Our Investment Reporting solution enables the client to totally automate the production of their entire suite of performance and attribution reports” continues Dukes. “Multiple stock attributions, ex-post risk, activity and management information reports are just some of the outputs that can be created, updated and disseminated at the click of a single button, saving our clients a significant amount of time and money in what would otherwise be a time consuming and largely manual process. Further, we are delighted to report that Ignis’ latest roll-out phase will increase their output using Factbook Investment Reporting™ by more than four-fold.”

Studio 10™ provides clients with – for the first time – a single, unified, extensible platform from which to oversee and manage the entirety of Factbook’s Solution Suite. Studio 10™ boasts enhanced workflow management and monitoring, allowing process managers a completely customisable dashboard view of their reporting process across multiple channels – including Client Reports, Investment Reports, Factsheets, Feeds and Pitchbooks.
