It delivers openness, flexibility and scalability.  Built on industry standard platforms it can be integrated with any other systems environment.   The FactBook TP facilitates the automation, scheduling of data retrievals and the update of the FactBook database. This includes the data-mapping tool for the collection and processing of data from any third party and in-house sources. The data retriever includes a set of user-definable validation routines that test incoming data, reporting errors to the system's log and providing e-mail alerts where appropriate. FactBook TP empowers users with a set of tools that:   •   Allow access to all data held on the system in a user-friendly manner along with the ability to amend individual data items quickly and simply. •     Deliver a fully customisable environment for the verification of data within FactBook, including a user-friendly validation dashboard that allows complex data sets to be easily examined and approved, at any point, and subsequently incorporated into reports. •     Create custom composite benchmarks using any combination of funds, portfolios or indices held on the system. These can be stored, updated and made available to other users in other applications. •   Access FactBook data for use within third party systems via the Application Programming Interface (API) set.

Business applications include:   FactBook Publisher This environment enables users to build reusable templates through a familiar interface utilising a choice of editors e.g. Microsoft Word and Adobe InDesign.   Users can preview all completed documents, based upon the predefined templates and the current data held in the database. From this point on, production runs can be easily managed, allowing clients sets, product types, asset classes etc to be easily grouped together for ease of production cycle management. FactBook Presenter Users are able to harness data and automatically populate Microsoft PowerPoint templates for production of pitch books and other external and internal presentations. Factbook Reports This constructs powerful, flexible, ad-hoc performance and analysis reports for funds and portfolios held on the FactBook system. A FactBook customer is able to drill down on funds via customisable quick charts and instant factsheets. FactBook Objects Web environments are furnished directly with an array of information from the FactBook database (including tables, charts, images and manipulated data fields) via a series of runtime calls. FactBook HIPI This versatile tool delivers the detailed analysis of multi-asset portfolios including flexible scenario construction and the use of accepted financial calculators to help with goal planning.
